My mission of equipping leaders for maximum impact in a culturally-complex world follows a lifetime of leading by example through total engagement in God’s global mission. Besides serving as a LifePlan facilitator, leading Cultural Immersion experiences for leaders and continuing on the pastoral team of Graceway, here are some other parts of my current life that might suggest how I can be of service to you.
I serve on the board of Christar US and Christar International, a mission organization dedicated to cultivate Christ-honoring transformation in communities where He is yet to be worshiped. Cheryl, and I also enjoy ministering to the workers of Christar and other organizations as those who can identify with their challenges, having “been there and done that.”
My background and experience uniquely qualify me to share with leaders how to lead their churches, organizations and businesses to better cross-cultural understanding and mobilize them to engage in what God is doing in the world. I invest much time teaching, training and encouraging Christian workers and advising leaders around the world.
Several times each year I teach modules in a college-level course called Perspectives on the World Christian Movement, part of a growing international movement to mobilize believers to engage in the story of what God is doing in the world. I've taught portions of this course in the United States and also in Spanish in various Latin American countries.
